'75 COMMANDO MK3 W/ BOYER AND SPARKX ALTERNATOR.
SPARK TO PLUGS, NO GAS TO PLUGS. WON'T EVEN PRETEND TO START. SOMEONE (IN JAIL NOW) WAS GOING TO DO A VALVE JOB, ETC.-WENT TO JAIL. NO INFO ON WHAT DONE. HOWEVER, FOLLOWING WHEN I GOT BIKE.
(1) RED FROM BOYER TO NEGATIVE TERMINAL OF COIL#1-6V.(GOT NEW COILS)
(2) STATOR PLATE TURNED 180 DEGREE TO ALIGNMENT WHEN MAGNET ON ROTOR SUPPOSED TO BE IN LINE W/NORTON EMBLEM AND STATOR TIMING HOLE. (NOT SURE IF TIMING OK.)
(3) BLUE/BROWN POWER WIRE CONNECTED TO RED DOT (FOR GROUNDING WIRE) AT
CAPACITOR. CAN'T START BIKE SO CAN NOT TEST ALTERNATOR OUTPUT.
ALSO, CAN WARNING LIGHT ASSIMILATOR BE BYPASSED IF ONE DOESN'T HAVE A WARNING LIGHT? AND CAN VALVE JOB DONE WRONG CAUSE NO GAS FLOW?
THANKS IF ANYONE HAS ANY ANSWERS. P.S. BIKE STARTED/RAN BEFORE HE GOT IT.
