So I have the Sidestand for a Norton Atlas, and I Have a Norton Atlas - sorta (Triumph powered) and for the life of me I cannot make the sidestand work. It says Clamp it to this section of the frame. I clamp it, put weight on it and over goes the bike. It's getting a bit frustrating, and I'm not sure how much more of this the threads and nuts on the mounting bracket can take... previous advise has been "Clamp Harder"

I am actively trying to steal the swing arm off a '73 Triumph frame and retrofit it to the Norton Bracket... I think maybe it being so short might be a problem.. Then again the Triumph bracket is welded to the Triumph frame.

Can't use the center stand with the Triumph unit engine as there is no place to attatch the spring..

I am about ready to shoot myself... Help?
