I am on the Illinois/wisconsin state line in the U.S. I recently sold my completly restored 1973 Norton 750 Commando. Considering what I had in it the selling price was kind of low. My question is for anyone who is familar with the value of these bikes and the value of the american dollar. Has the value of British bikes gone up recently because of the devalued dollar? I seem to recall that 2 British pounds used to equal one American dollar not to long ago, or was it the other way around like it seems to be now? The American and Canadian Dollar seem to be roughly equal now days. So if I'm correct, I'm thinking British bike parts are going to get even more expensive and Brit bikes are going to be even more valuable. In that case, I wish I had my bike back. Any facts or discussion on this is welcome. Thank you.
