Iím sure sorry to see the decline in posting here. This forum has been my go-to place for reliable information and fun adventures with no BS. Oh well. Regardless, I wanted to at least put up a technical referral for those interested in getting their tachometer or speedometers repaired here in the US. My tach started to run badly and the needle started bouncing all over the dial. I could not live without a dependable tach. After some research I found a shop in Illinois that came highly regarded. I sent the tach to them and after about a week in the shop it came back and was stunning! They did a beautiful job. So if you need a tach or speedo repaired I highly recommend them. Scott is a great guy to talk with and a real experienced repairman. Used to build and restore bikes but now only repairs instruments.

Hello All;

I have to concur with Rod, the site has been a bit "sleepy": as far as the "stunning" repair of the tachometer, it is good to know that there are people that take pride in, and are able, to repair these Mechanical Instruments to "as new" condition.(remember, we were reading about Dick Tracy, talking on his T.V. wrist radio((RADIO?)) in the early '60s,)

I'm gonna stick my 36gig thumb drive into my "tablet"(no chalk required) to figure out what "I" have done wrong because my antique wont start!

The adventure continues...

Good On Ya Rod!
